The Kosí (Kosový) stream rises on the southeastern slopes of Dylene (940 m) in the Bohemian Forest. In its lower reaches, it flows through a deep, wooded and sparsely populated valley, which was declared the Kosí potok Nature Park in 1995.The valley is home to many rare plants and animals. In the past, a number of waterworks operated on the stream. Of the thirty-five mills mentioned, only ruins are visible today. The largest was the Český mlýn, which was abandoned in 1953. The Kosí potok nature trail is dedicated to these and other interesting facts. It leads from the former Caltov by the road from Planá to Lestkov to the Na Špirkové crossroads under the Černošín serpentines. The section between the Český mlýn and Michalový Hory is a popular destination for geological excursions. On the rocky outcrops above the left bank of the stream, it is possible to observe the metamorphic profile of the Tepelský crystalline rocks from the low staurolite zone to the sillimanite zone.In the floodplain of the Kosí stream below Lazurový vrch (650 m), there is a natural monument called Čiperka with a spring of natural carbonated water.
