The founder of the textile industry in Pernink at the beginning of the 19th century was Adalbert Meinl, whose descendants have successfully followed in his footsteps as well. The Meinls were also the most generous patrons of Pernink and the statue of Jesus Christ on the so-called Christenberg was created, among other things, with their donations.
