Marianske Lazne City Museum

The Municipal Museum in Mariánské Lázně was founded in 1887, now it is located at Goethov nám. No. 11 in the former spa house Zlatý hrozen, later Goethe-Haus, where the administrative offices and exhibition spaces of the museum are located. The original house "U zlatého hroznu" was built in 1818 by architect František Hable. In the years 1975–1979 it was reconstructed into a museum. It is the oldest preserved building in the original settlement of Mariánské Lázně.

The museum currently houses the following exhibitions:

Johann Wolfgang Goethe - memorial rooms of J. W. Goethe on the 1st floor, 5 rooms with period furniture, samples of collections and correspondence commemorating the poet's visits to Mariánské Lázně in 1820–1823,

famous visitors to Mariánské Lázně and visits by the English King Edward VII,

balneology, use of mineral waters (development and state of spa treatment, important spa doctors) - models of spring collection, exhibited kidney stones, period lead-tin bath, period medical examination tools,

history of the city and region (Klášter Teplá, founding of the city, period of first development, awarding of the coat of arms, city at the time of greatest development, period after World War I to date),
