A partially extinct settlement, originally named Dolní Bludná, was named after the Lessig family, which lived here from the 17th century onwards. In Lesík lies an important headwater territory, from which water is pumped with the aid of a unique technical structure into the waterworks of the town of Abertamy that were built in 1909.
