Muzeum Horní Slavkov

The museum was founded in 2001 as a branch of the Sokolov Museum in the Gothic-Renaissance house at No. 211 in Pluhova Street and is adjacent to the so-called Plough House. On June 1, 2012, the museum was transferred to the administration of the Horní Slavkov Municipal Cultural Center.The museum has 8 exhibition spaces, which are filled with the following permanent exhibitions: mineralogy, history of mining, tinsmithing, porcelain, history of the city (including its devastation). The museum premises also include rooms where short-term exhibitions are held.
