Historical state boundary

Until the mid-16th century, a border that passed through this area separated the Bohemian Kingdom and Saxony, or more precisely the estate of the Schlick counts to the south and the lands of the Saxon Prince-Elector to the north. After the provincial border was moved further to the north after 1546, it continued to separate various cadastral areas, which holds true even today.
